Prerequisites
Six U/M credits, including:
- English ENG4U
- Principles of Math MPM2D
- Plus 4 more 4U or 4M level courses
You must have achieved 75% or better in each of the required courses and an overall 75% on the 6 U/M courses. Selection is based on academic performance and extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership potential. If any of your grades are less than 80% you must demonstrate excellent leadership skills to be competitive.
All applications are pre-screened for suitability at Canadian Forces Recruiting Centres before being sent forward for consideration. Comparisons with the OUAC application process are not practical.
Admission
RMC's application process is independent from that of the Ontario Universities' Application Centre. Changes to the Ontario university admission offer date agreement will not affect RMC's admission process.
All applications must be made through the Canadian Armed Forces website. You will be informed of the decision of the Selection Board by mid-May.
All degree programs are available in both English and French. The subjects in the curriculum are selected for their value to future officers in the Canadian Forces. Science and engineering programs have a high proportion of time devoted to the arts, and the arts program has a high proportion of time devoted to mathematics and science.
