Recognizes a person's merit and accomplishments, according to specific criteria. Can be monetary in value.

A monetary award given to a student based on financial need.

A formal recognition that a student completed a university-level degree program.

The number of first year students enrolled in the first year of a particular program. On OUInfo, the enrollment number is not a cut-off point but a general guideline.

Someone from a group that has historically faced barriers or underrepresentation.

A program that combines academic studies and practical work experience in a field of study (also known as co-op or an internship).

The minimum academic average needed to get into a program.

A general guideline based on a program's admission average in the previous academic year.

Funds given to a student for a specific purpose.

A person who self-identifies as an Indigenous person by relation to, or descending from, the Indigenous or Original peoples in Canada. This include persons with First Nations (Status or Non-status), Inuit or Métis ancestry.

A scholarship that provides funding for only 1 year.

The 9-digit number on your Ontario report card that you will need to apply to university.

The certification you receive when you complete high school in Ontario.

A letter code used to identify and apply to a university program through the OUAC application.

Supervised practical work.

Requirements that you must complete before you can begin a program.

A program of advanced learning such as medicine, law or teaching, that leads to a job governed by a regulatory body.

A scholarship that provides funding for more than 1 year.

A form of financial aid that helps fund a student's academic studies.

A specialization within a general degree program.
