Available to undergraduate students entering year 1 of a full-time undergraduate program at Wilfrid Laurier University (any campus) or Waterloo Lutheran Seminary directly from high school. Candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or bearers of valid student visas (visa applicants must have completed their senior year at a Canadian high school). Candidates must demonstrate successful completion of a graduation diploma from a Canadian high school. To avoid duplication and maximize distribution of awards, candidates will not be eligible to receive the President`s Centennial Scholarship – i.e., the candidate's final admission average must be less than 95% in their best Grade 12 U/M courses or Ontario Academic Credits (OACs) (or equivalent). The scholarship will be granted to the eligible candidate who presents the highest final admission average that is less than 95% (or equivalent). In the case of 2 candidates being eligible to receive the scholarship, the scholarship will be granted to the candidate who presents the highest cumulative average of all Grade 12 U/M courses. In the case of a further tie, the eligible candidates will receive an equal share of the available scholarship funds. This scholarship is not renewable in subsequent years of study.
