Granted to a student from the Waterloo Regional District School Board who is entering the Honours Bachelor of Music program at Laurier and intends to enter the music education or voice performance streams. Recipients will have made a significant contribution to and demonstrated outstanding leadership in their high school music programs or the Kitchener-Waterloo community, with a demonstrated interest in children's programs. Preference will be given to applicants from Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate and Vocational School (KCI) or Forest Heights Collegiate Institute. The recipient must demonstrate financial need, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident (landed immigrant) or protected person, and a long-term resident of Ontario.
