- Entering students of academic distinction who are Indigenous or persons with a disability or who are members of a racial minority are eligible.
- You must have made a significant contribution to your school and community, and demonstrate the potential to become a leader in society.
- A minimum 90% admission average is required.
Additional Information
Selection will be made based on superior leadership ability and potential as demonstrated through positions held, extracurricular activities, involvement in high school, communities and reference support.
Students apply by January 23 by completing the online application. References must be submitted by January 30.
The scholarship will be renewed each year provided recipients remain registered in full-time studies and achieve a minimum 80.0% average in their previous academic year of full-time study and continue to demonstrate the leadership qualities on which the award was given.
Recipients will be guaranteed residence, and guaranteed their first-choice preference for their first year of study provided the residence application and deposit are completed by the deadline date published by Student Housing Services.
Recipients must provide an annual report to the President's and Chancellors' Scholarship Selection and Review Committee (PCSSRC) detailing leadership and engagement activities throughout the year.
This award cannot be held with the President’s Scholarships or the Board of Governors’ Scholarships.
