Students entering the BASc program with at least an 80% admission average who plan to pursue a career in teaching or education at any level. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated leadership ability and potential.

To maintain the award for the second year of study, the recipients must have a minimum cumulative average of 77% and continue to demonstrate the qualities on which the award was given.
To maintain the scholarship into the third and fourth years, the recipients must have a minimum average of 80% in the prior year and continue to demonstrate the qualities on which the award was given.
This award cannot be held with the Clara E. Elliott Entrance Scholarship E0095.
