Domaines d'intérêt principal
Un domaine d’intérêt est une majeure ou spécialisation dans le cadre d’un programme général menant à un grade.
Par exemple, l’université peut proposer un grade appelé « Arts ». Toutefois, il vous serait possible de faire, par le biais d’un tel programme, des études dans un certain nombre de domaines d’intérêts (histoire, théâtre, économie, anglais, français, sociologie, philosophie, etc.).
En règle générale l’on vous demandera d’indiquer votre domaine d’intérêt donnant droit à une majeure au moment de faire demande au programme.

- Two of MHF4U, MCV4U or MDM4U
- MCV4U is strongly recommended and will be required for certain modules in the program
Admission
Basic Requirements for Admission
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- A minimum of 6 grade 12U/M level courses (excluding co-op), including English (ENG4U)
- Proof of English Language Proficiency if English is not your first language
- All your completed and in-progress Grade 11U/M level courses
- Requirements specific to your program (required courses or supplemental forms)
- If you are registered to take a course outside of your home school, make sure it is Ministry-accredited. Grades must be reported through the OUAC.
Failed and Repeated Courses
If you fail and repeat a course or choose to upgrade a particular course, King's will use the higher of the 2 grades presented when calculating the admission average.
Timing and Process for Admission Decisions
King's will extend offers of admission, scholarships and residence to students with strong academic transcripts in rounds beginning in November and continuing into July as more grades are received. We will review your application every single round. Typically, the last round is in July once final grades are received. You must be enrolled in, or have completed the prerequisite courses for your programs of choice. There is no disadvantage to getting an offer in the later rounds, so do not worry if you do not hear back early.
Alternative Offers
King’s does not have automatic alternative offers of admission. If you wish to be considered for more than 1 program, list each program as a separate choice on your OUAC application.

Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies
The Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) provides a strong foundation in business, management and analytics, before letting you choose a specialized stream in Accounting, Finance & Administration, Global Commerce, Organizational Human Resources or an Honours Double Major. Through small classes, close faculty mentorship and opportunities for co-op, case-based projects, research and experiential learning, you will develop the skills to lead, solve problems and make informed decisions in a rapidly changing world. BMOS prepares students for professional pathways such as CPA, CFA and CHRP, as well as graduate opportunities at Ivey and Western University, and careers in business, government and the non-profit sector.

Double Major – Management and Organizational Studies
This is part of an Honours Double Major, which allows you to pursue both BMOS and another major at King’s, such as Criminology, Sociology, History, Philosophy, French or English. Combine business and management with another area of study to create a degree that reflects your interests, strengthens your skill set, and expands your opportunities after graduation.
Professional Pathways
- Accounting – prepares students for Western’s Graduate Diploma in Accounting (GDip), the university‑based pathway toward the CPA designation.
- Finance & Administration – closely aligned with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- Organizational Human Resources – courses mapped to the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation to support CHRP exam preparation.
Co‑op Experience
Throughout the MEM Co‑op program, you can spend 4 to 16 months gaining real‑world, paid experience in your field while working with leading employers in the private and public sectors. Run through Western’s co‑op framework and managed by MEM, you will attend pre‑co‑op sessions, submit a resume and complete an interview before accessing placements. It is your chance to apply what you’ve learned in class, build your résumé and make valuable industry connections before you graduate.
