To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
- Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
- Be an entering undergraduate student enrolling in one of the following programs: Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work, Social Work Advanced Standing Direct Entry, Public Health, or Nutrition.
- Have achieved a minimum final admission average of 86%. Applicants to Social Work Advanced Standing must have achieved a minimum final admission GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by the university.
- Be enrolled full-time

The McCall MacBain Foundation believes the best investment we can make towards our collective future is providing educational opportunities that help young people discover, develop and deepen their leadership potential. The McCall MacBain Community Health Awards at TMU provide financial assistance to high-potential students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds pursuing undergraduate baccalaureate or advanced and post-baccalaureate programs in the Faculty of Community Services in Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work, Public Health and Nutrition.
