- Be admitted as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa or be enrolled full-time during the Fall term following the application deadline.
- Have accepted an offer to live in the Nidjìnawendàganag (All My Relations) Living Learning Community (LLC).
- Demonstrate financial need, as detailed in a letter accompanying the application.
- Provide documented proof of Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Be in good standing with the University of Ottawa Housing Service.

- Write a letter (max. 500 words) from the applicant detailing the financial circumstances that prevent them from fully covering the costs of the residence and meal plan.
- Submit a documented proof of Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure.
- Provided a documented proof that the applicant has been accepted to live in the Nidjìnawendàganag (All My Relations) Living Learning Community (LLC).
