- Be admitted or registered on a full-time basis in an undergraduate program at the University of Ottawa.
- Be an Ontario resident as per OSAP rules.
- Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service.
- Be francophone (French being their primary language of communication) as indicated on the admission request form.
- Be studying in an Ontario high school or have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or the equivalent.
- Be registered in 80% of their courses in French at the time of application and for the next academic year, in an undergraduate program.
- Have a minimum average of 80% (for high school students) or a CGPA of 8.0 or more.
- Actively volunteer, and take part in one or several community-oriented development activities which promote the French language and culture in Ontario.
