Consecutive Education (Intermediate/Senior)
This 16-month program prepares you to teach grades 7 to 12 with expertise in 2 of the following teachable subject areas:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- English
- General Science
- Health and Physical Education
- History
- Mathematics
- Physics
Admission is based on an undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with a minimum required average of 70% (“B-” or 2.7 GPA) in the best 10 full-year or best 20 half-year courses completed. Preference is given to 4-year honours degrees.
Applicants must have completed a minimum of 5 full-year courses or 10 half-year courses with a 70% average in a first teaching subject, and 3 full-year courses or 6 half-year courses with a 70% average in a second teaching subject.
