Students must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement and initiative.
Students will have completed all of their high school education at, in order of priority:
- North Hastings High School in Bancroft, Ontario
- Madawaska Valley District High School in Barry's Bay, Ontario
- Opeongo High School in Douglas, Ontario
- Renfrew Collegiate Institute in Renfrew, Ontario

Students receive the annual value, subject to the renewal conditions within the terms of the award.
