Academic achievement to Indigenous students entering the first year of any undergraduate degree program under the Indigenous Admission Policy. Students admitted under the Indigenous Admission Policy will automatically be considered.

Queen's believes that all students who are offered admission should have the opportunity to attend and remain at Queen's, regardless of their personal financial circumstances. We are committed to equality of opportunity and therefore we assist students entering the first year of any first-entry undergraduate program of study whose families are lacking sufficient financial resources.
Queen's offers both merit and need-based financial awards to entering students who self identify as Indigenous, Inuit, and Métis.
To be eligible for a merit-based Indigenous admission awards, students must complete 2 steps:
- Students must self identify during the application process when applying to Queen's via the OUAC
- Students must submit to Queen's one of the documents listed here.
To be eligible for a need-based Indigenous admission award students must apply via the Admission Bursary Application by February 15. On the application students must self identify under the applicable section that provides them the opportunity to indicate their ancestral heritage. As well, students must then submit to Queen's one of the documents listed here. Students who have missed this deadline are encouraged to contact the Office of the University Registrar, Student Awards via phone or email.
Further, all students are considered automatically for a grades-based Admission Scholarship by applying for admission to Queen's. Students who excel both in and outside of the classroom should consider applying for the Queen's Major Admission Awards.
