Funded through a donation from Leo Groarke, this award supports a first year full-time student entering an academic program in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Laurier Brantford directly from high school.
Applicants must be residents of Brantford for at least 12 consecutive months prior to entering Laurier Brantford and must graduate from high school with a minimum GPA of 7.7 (B+ average). Preference will be given to a student that has taken a philosophy course in high school.
Applicants must also: Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents (landed immigrants) or protected persons; be long-term residents of Ontario; have proven financial need.
