- Be enrolled full- or part-time in an undergraduate or a graduate program at the University of Ottawa
- Be in good academic standing
- Demonstrate financial need and have overcome and/or be dealing with significant and long-term life challenges
- Former recipients of this fund are eligible to receive it again upon reapplication should they meet all the eligibility criteria
- This scholarship is renewable for a maximum of 4 years for undergraduate students and for a maximum of 2 years for master’s students
