Paul and Bricken Dalseg, Pioneers of Lake-of-the-Woods Student Award

This award will provide financial assistance of up to $5,000 to 1 Anishinaabe (First Nation, Métis or Inuit) student entering their first year at Algoma U and who is a resident in the Treaty 3 Area of Ontario, with a demonstrated financial need. If no such student qualifies for the award in any academic year, the award may be given to an Anishinaabe (First Nation, Métis or Inuit) student, entering their first year at Algoma U and who is a resident of Ontario with a demonstrated financial need, at the discretion of the university. This award is non-renewable.
