Onward Willow Award

Open to full-time undergraduate students entering year 1 who are residents of the Onward Willow-Better Beginnings, Better Futures (OWBBBF) Neighbourhood in Guelph, Ontario.

The recipient must demonstrate a commitment to community volunteerism or active participation in programs offered at the OWBBBF Neighbourhood (as confirmed in writing by the Program Director OWBBBF).

The recipient must demonstrate financial need, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident (landed immigrant) or protected person, and a long-term resident of Ontario.

In the event there are multiple eligible applicants, preference will be given to those applicants who are participants of the OWBBBF Neighbourhood.

In the event there are no eligible applicants who meet the OWBBBF Neighbourhood residency, volunteerism or participation requirement, the award will be granted to a student who meets all other criteria and demonstrates involvement in their community in general.

This is an endowed award, created to support the educational goals of the youth of the OWBBBF Neighbourhood in Guelph, Ontario.
